Consume one tablespoon before each meal or in the case of a strong cough and congestion, and you will effectively solve the breathing difficulties. You can repeat the treatment until your lungs get better. Children should consume a teaspoon of the remedy before each meal.

Ingredients:


  •  7 tablespoons honey
  •  Juice of 2 medium sized lemons
  •  500 grams of brown sugar or 2 cups of pure maple syrup
  •  500 grams (1/2kg) red onion
  •  6 cups (1,5Lit.) water

Preparation:

In a large bowl, warm up the brown sugar until it melts and add the chopped onion. Cook over low heat for a few minutes, but take care for it not to burn, and then add the water.

Boil over medium heat until1/3 of the water evaporates and then leave the container aside to cool down.
Mix the lemon juice with honey and add it to the cooled syrup and stir well. Leave the remedy to stand overnight and in the morning, strain and put the syrup in a glass bottle in the refrigerator.
